A Bit About AshLeigh

AshLeigh Meyer Dunham is a Fertility Attorney and Referee for the Jefferson County Juvenile Courts. She graduated from the University of Alabama and then Cumberland School of Law. She began practicing family law immediately upon graduation and then added the niche of fertility law as she began her own fertility treatment. She has presented at several conferences on the importance of protecting IVF and has been published in The Alabama Lawyer twice. She is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine's Legal Professional Group and a Professional Member of Resolve.  She is currently serving on the parentage committee for the Legal Services Agency helping draft their parentage statute pertaining to assisted reproductive technology. In her spare time, she teaches dance fitness to amazing women and spends time with her husband, crazy dogs, and even crazier three-year-old who was born after five years of infertility and three cycles of IVF. She is extremely outspoken regarding access to fertility treatment in Alabama and across the United States.
